The STF-2500ASi is a precision electronic device for the detection of various types of solid or liquid materials, in aggressive environments or in applications where conductive sensors are not suitable due to the presence of moisture, corrosion, etc. The STF-2500ASi differs from other capacitive sensors available on the market due to its AS-Interface network communication, which allows the monitoring of several sensors in a single cable and the remote adjustment of its sensitivity, and also due to its large frontal sensing area, making it suitable for the detection of porous or non-compacted solids, which present empty spaces, such as those found in sugarcane bagasse, chemical products, grains, etc. It is produced with a black polypropylene (PP) housing and its electronic circuitry encapsulated in epoxy, resulting in a totally waterproof sensor.
